Round 2

Question 1
I was born in 1956 in California and I began my acting career on stage at the Great Lakes     Shakespeare Festival in Ohio.

I made my big screen debut in the 1980 movie, He Knows You’re Alone. From 1980 to 1982 I starred in the TV series Bosom Buddies.  
My film CV includes the movies Volunteers, The Money Pit and Nothing In Common. 
I have co-starred with Meg Ryan in a number of films, the first of which was Joe Versus The Volcano. 
I won Oscars in consecutive years for Forrest Gump and Philadelphia.

Question 2  
I was born in London in 1908 and studied languages at universities in Munich and Geneva. 
In World War II, I worked for British Naval Intelligence. After the war I worked as foreign correspondant for the Sunday Times.
I died in 1964 leaving behind a legacy of novels that were adapted into a series of films. 
I penned the novel Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. 
I am the creator of James Bond

I was born in New York in 1927. Whilst at High School I got my first taste of acting as a detective in a school production. 

In 1960 I played a drug addict in the TV series The Law And Mr Jones, a role that earned me an Emmy nomination. 
My film roles include Robin And The Seven Hoods and It’s A Mad Mad Mad Mad World. 
As a child I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour which was removed along with my right eye. 
My most famous role is the police detective Columbo.

I was born in June 1951 in Scotland and I have worked as a journalist and a TV editor. 

In the 1970s, I lectured at Edinburgh University and later at the Caledonian University. 
On August 3, 2000 I married Sarah. 
In 1983 I became an MP having being elected for the constituency of Dunfermline East. 
I have served for a number of years as Chancellor of the Exchequer in the government led by Tony Blair.

I was born in London in 1957 and in 1984 I was commissioned to rewrite the musical Me and my Girl earning me a Tony nomination. 

I am a keen collector of teddy bears and I once described myself as “Britain’s favourite teddy bear”. 
I have served a prison sentence for credit card fraud. 
My autobiography is entitled Moab is my Washpot. 
On TV I have played the servant Jeeves and on film I played my hero Oscar Wilde.
